How can I get a contracted time slot?


Our contracted time slots are only bookable through email and not at the reception. Send your request (what kind of sport, time, day etcetera) to info@frescatisportscenter.se




Do you have a gym in the facility?


The gym is right now under renovation and will open again in August 2020. We are happy to announce that Fitness24Seven are the new owners of the gym in Frescati Sports Center!




How do I get student prices?


To get our student price you need to show us your valid student-ID/student card before your first booking. You can either visit us in the facility and show your student card/app to our reception staff or send us a print screen of your student card in our chat service at frescatisportscenter.se (open weekdays 9AM-4PM). 1. Start by creating a profile at Matchi.se. 2. Open the chat and send us your first- and last name,email (same email as you used when creating your Matchi-profile) and a print screen of your valid student- ID




Can I book a court over the phone?


No, you can´t book over the phone. Book your court through either Matchi.se or at our reception. It´s not possible to reserve a court and pay later since the payment is connected with your booking.




How do I cancel a booking?


If you have booked a court through Matchi.se you can cancel the booking yourself by logging in to your Matchi-account. Your money (except a transaction fee of 12,50SEK will be transfered back to your card that you have paid with), normally within a couple of bank days. If you have booked a court at our reception you need to come to the facility in order cancel your booking and to get the refund. Your booking always have to be cancelled at least 6 hours before booked time to get a refund.




Can I rent a racket?


Yes. At the reception you can rent rackets (40SEK/racket) to all the sports we are offering. You can also purchase a shuttle/ball for 30SEK/ball (badminton,tennis, table tennis).
ATT: If you play one of the other sports we offer you can rent a ball for 40SEK/ball (futsal/football, basketball, volleyball)




Are you also in charge of SSIF´s (Stockholm Studenters IdrottsFörening) activities?


No. We are two diferent “companies”. SSIF are tenants in the facility and have their own separate activities. Find out more on their website.




What are your prices?


There are different prices for different sports. The prices also vary depending on if you are a student or not and what time you want to play. Under "Sports" on the website you will find the specific prices.




What are your opening hours?

What does “Pingis 5A/5B” mean?


It means that you book one half of Badminton court number 5 to play table tennis on. Before you can start you need to bring out the table and barriers yourself (placed beside court number 5) and when finished put them back again. You don´t need to take down the badminton net since you´re only playing on one half of the badminton court.




What does “Badminton/MT 5” mean?


MT is a short version of “Minitennis”. If it says “MT” after the court number it means that you can also play minitennis on that court. When playing minitennis you lower down the badminton net and play with a tennis racket and a soft tennis ball on a badminton court. Rackets and soft ball could be rented at our reception.




Can I bring my children?


Of course! Everyone are welcome in our facility. Please remember that you as a parent/adult are responsible for your children in the facility.




Can I bring my pet?


No. It´s not allowed to bring pets inside the facility, even if they are small/ placed in a bag etcetera.




I can´t book/pay for a court through matchi?


Matchi is an external booking system that we use for our booking services. If any difficulties/malfunctions occur when trying to book/pay, please contact matchi support directly through their website (matchi.se).




Is there a parking lot near your facility?


Yes, there is a parking lot outside the facility however it belongs to Stockholm University and not Frescati Sports Center. Therefore we can´t guarantee that there are avalible parking spots. The parking lot is subject to a charge.




Do you have lockers?


Yes. There are lockers inside the changing rooms where you can store your belongings while training (needs to be emptied and unlocked when leaving after your training session is done). You can purchase a padlock for 50SEK in our reception during our manned opening hours. We also rent out lockers per semester where you can store your things over night. The cost per semester is 500SEK and includes a rented padlock. Please contact the reception if you are interrested in renting a locker for the semester.




Do you have a sauna?


Yes, in the dressing room on the first floor and it is open during our manned opening hours to use for our costumers. The temperature is around 75-80 degrees.
ATT! Please tell us in the reception before your training session if you want to use the sauna so we can make sure that it´s turned on. In that way we can save a lot of energy by not having it switched on when no one uses it.
